Dr. Dawson received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1999.  After graduation, he spent one year in Albuquerque, New Mexico completing an intensive small animal internship at a large multi-doctor referral hospital.  Since 2000, Dr. Dawson has been serving the clients and pets at Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital and enjoys the daily interaction and clinical challenges medicine offers.  Dr. Dawson particularly enjoys feline medicine, oncology and dentistry.  In his time outside the hospital, Dr. Dawson enjoys hiking and golfing.  He and his wife (also a veterinarian) have a daughter, and share their home with 3 cats and 2 dogs.
